The Rules and Regulations of the European Poker Tour
Before delving into the different events that transpired in the world of the european poker Tour, it is but fitting to consider the different poker rules and regulations implemented in this prestigious event. Just like the other major poker events, the tour has designed its own rules in which all the other players, tournament officials and organizers should follow.
At the end of any event, the decision of the so-called tournament director will always be final. This decision should be able to fix any problem that emerges either expectedly or unexpectedly. Everybody else involved in the different poker tournaments should respect this decision. It is also the main responsibility of the various participants to read and know by heart every rule. It will help avoid any unnecessary problems in the future.
Players will be seated according to a random drawing of lots. Once determined, these seats are not to be altered. Each table will have the task of drawing who will get the dealer's button at the start of every tournament. The same will also be done when players reach the final table. All of the players will be given the same amount of chips, regardless to the different value of the buy-ins in the different events.
Players are mandated to show their chips all the time. These things must always be displayed on top of the poker tables. The act of putting these things inside the players' pockets is illegal. The existence of foreign chips is not allowed as well. The process of betting should be done in an orderly manner and should always be done in a clockwise rotation.
When a player decides to make a raise that is more than half the last bet, this individual will be required to conduct a full raise. In all the poker tournaments held under the European Poker Tour, the element of an over-blind is not allowed. Before a dealer finishes dealing the cards, players should be rightly seated or else their hands will be mucked by the dealer.
Deck changes as well as rabbit hunting are also not in the discretions of tournament players. When players go all-in, their cards will then be exposed for every one else on the table to see. Exposing the cards to other players while at play is not allowed as well. An utterance of bad language is prohibited and could mean serious penalties to the guilty party.
Failure to comply with all these rules and regulations will definitely give players serious repercussions that they would surely regret. These poker rules are designed to give the different tournaments uniformity and order. Every thing will be fine and will also be in place if all the players willingly abide to the different rules and regulations mandated by the event.
