European Poker Tour 2007: The Fourth Season

As of the moment, the European Poker Tour 2007 is still in progress. The results are still partial and unofficial as the other remaining poker tournaments are not yet done. This fourth season shows how the tour has continued to thrive in recent years. More aspiring poker players from Europe are still hoping to join the different tournaments.

The European Poker Tour served as a breakthrough for talented poker players in Europe to show their skills all over the world. They have gallantly displayed their different strategies and styles of playing. European poker players constitute an undeniably strong force to reckon with in the world of poker.

With four tournaments already done for the fourth season, a total of 1,438 poker players have already participated in the event. Among these players, 227 are PokerStars qualifiers. Among the finished tournaments are the Barcelona Open in Spain, the EPT London in England, the EPT Baden Classic in Germany, and the EPT Dublin in Ireland.

The remaining tournaments that will complete the fourth season of the European Poker Tour include the EPT Prague in the Czech Republic, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure at the Paradise Island in Bahamas, the EPT German Open in Dortmund, Germany, the EPT Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen, Denmark, the EPT Polish Open in Warsaw, Poland, the EPT San Remo in Italy, and the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

The European Poker Tour 2007 started off with the Barcelona Open tournament. This event was held from the 28th of August until the 1st of September 2007. Sander Lylloff of Denmark took home the grand pot amounting to 1,170,700 Euros. The total prize pool for this particular tournament is valued at 4,181,100 Euros.

The second tournament was the EPT London from September 25 to 29, 2007. Out of the 392 total participants, Joseph Mouawad emerged as the ultimate winner. He took home a grand total of 611,500 British pounds. This tournament featured a total of 60 PokerStars qualifiers. The third tournament was the EPT Baden Classic was won by Julian Thew of Great Britain. He took home the grand pot amounting to 670,800 Euros.

The fourth tournament featured in the European Poker Tour is the EPT Dublin. From the 30th of October to the 3rd of November 2007, a total of 221 poker players battle it out for the prestigious pot. In the end, it was Reuben Peters of the U.S. who emerged as the ultimate winner, taking home the grand pot amounting to 532,620 Euros.

The European Poker Tour 2007 is almost half-way through. The remaining tournaments would definitely be action-packed as some of the best poker players battle it out for poker dominance in Europe. These events are a must-see for all the poker enthusiasts out there.
